পদত্যাগের গুঞ্জনে প্রধান উপদেষ্টা ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূসের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করেছেন এনসিপি আহবায়ক নাহিদ ইসলাম। সন্ধ্যায় প্রধান উপদেষ্টার সরকারি বাসভবন যমুনায় এ বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এনসিপির যুগ্ম আহবায়ক সারোয়ার তুষার জানান, বৈঠকে জুলাই অভ্যুত্থানের আকাঙ্ক্ষা, প্রধান উপদেষ্টার ওপরে মানুষের আস্থা বিবেচনায় যে কোনো সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়ার আহ্বান জানান নাহিদ ইসলাম। এদিকে উদ্ভূত পরিস্থিতি থেকে উত্তরণে প্রধান উপদেষ্টাকে সর্বদলীয় বৈঠক ডাকার আহ্বান জানিয়েছেন জামায়াতে ইসলামীর আমীর ডা. শফিকুর রহমান।

Amid rumors of resignation, NCP convener Nahid Islam met with Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus. The meeting was held in the evening at the Chief Advisor's official residence Jamuna. NCP joint convener Sarwar Tushar said that Nahid Islam called for taking any decision considering the aspirations of the July coup and people's trust in the Chief Advisor. Meanwhile, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has called on the Chief Advisor to call an all-party meeting to overcome the emerging situation.
