This is a do it yourself project, which was built on the occasion of the Maker Hub Event, which was organized by Hassan. An ingenious meeting at which various projects were developed and great friendships were made. This is a Hau den Lukas in self-construction. With a big hammer you hit the seesaw and it shoots a sledge up the mast. A great game to see who is the strongest ;-). On the mast are digital LEDs. These visualize the highest level at a stroke. The height of the sledge is measured at several places by means of Hall sensors. The controller/board is designed for this project and was assembled by myself. It can be programmed using Arduino IDE.
The hammer is made of stainless steel and steel and gets two thick rubber attachments. The handle is made of ash wood and then varnished.
