If you've got any summer holidays planned, it's important to know what size baggage you're entitled to take on the plane. All airlines have pretty tight baggage restrictions, and budget airlines can be particularly tough if you don't follow the rules. Ryanair is known for their extra fees and stingy baggage restrictions, so it's important to do your homework and know how much you can take before you get to the airport. In this video I'll break down what you can take, how heavy it should be and what size it should be. If you leave it to the last minute or you get it wrong, Ryanair have some pretty harsh excess baggage fees in place.

I always measure and weigh my bags before leaving home, so I don't get stung at the airport. If I need to book any hold luggage, I do it well in advance of my trip, as it's pretty much always cheaper to do it online, rather than at the check-in desk.
