[TAS] Celeste Farewell in

In the last two months, Celeste's Farewell TAS has come down a staggering 92 seconds. This massive time cut was a result of two major reroutes in the final rooms of the level, with the second discovery entirely obsoleting the former. This video was recorded to preserve the first of these groundbreaking route changes, the use of one of Celeste's most bizarre interactions: Binocular Control Storage.

Between Nov 7 and Dec 3 2022, Farewell was improved from 9:41.349 to 9:08.794—the time shown in this video. This timesave was made possible by utilizing the previously mentioned Binocular Control Storage, or BCS. Credit goes to calvin for the idea and proof of concept, and to Vamp, Cr33pyCat, Tyran, Hane, Lmjacks, exopta, and aleph_null for route optimizations.
