Aerodynamics and exterior
Active aerodynamics: The GT3 RS is the first production Porsche to feature an F1-style Drag Reduction System (DRS) on its swan-neck rear wing. This allows the active wing element to flatten for higher straight-line speed or act as an airbrake.
Massive downforce: Porsche reports the 992 GT3 RS generates up to 1,895 lbs of downforce at 177 mph. This is triple the downforce of the standard GT3 and twice as much as the previous 991.2 GT3 RS.
Motorsport-inspired cooling: The car features a large, angled single central radiator in the front, replacing the trunk, to improve cooling and duct airflow. The front radiator's hot air is channeled by roof fins and other vents to prevent it from entering the engine intake.
Lightweight construction: Extensive use of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) can be found in the doors, hood, roof, and fenders. Optional magnesium wheels are available with the Weissach package for further weight savings.
Wide body: The 992 GT3 RS utilizes the wider Turbo body, accommodating wider wheels and providing space for additional aerodynamic elements.
Chassis and suspension
Suspension: Features a motorsport-derived suspension system with double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension.
On-the-fly adjustment: The steering wheel features four rotary dials that allow the driver to make real-time adjustments to damper settings (compression and rebound), traction control, and differential lock.
Wheel and tire setup: It rides on center-locking forged alloy wheels, with 20 inches in the front and 21 inches in the rear, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
Brakes: Standard brakes feature six-piston front and four-piston rear aluminum monobloc fixed calipers. Optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) are available.
Interior
Racing cockpit: The interior is track-focused, featuring lightweight bucket seats upholstered in microfiber fabric. The rear seats are eliminated to save weight.
Driver controls: The multifunction steering wheel includes the DRS button and dials to adjust performance settings.
Clubsport package: A standard feature in most markets, it includes a roll cage, battery kill switch, and a fire extinguisher. @HREWheels
