[WASD+ Hands-on] Arena Breakout on PC with keyboard & mouse | Maximize Performance: Key Mapping

In our last video, we taught you how to play Arena Breakout on PC using the standard key settings of WASD+. But as you know, gaming is all about customization and personalization, so in today's video, we're going to show you how to configure your own key mapping settings like a total boss!

We've got a complete step-by-step tutorial coming up that'll guide you through the process of customizing your key mapping to make it as comfortable and intuitive as possible. So, whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, you'll be able to tailor your controls to your liking.

So, grab your favorite snacks, sit back, and get ready to learn. Let's dive into it!

In the settings page of the game, find the Control Tab to enter the custom operation page. Then click the keyboard button on the right side of WASD+ to enter the key mapping configuration window.

Click the Guide button above to help us configure quickly.

The Gunshot mode of Arena Breakout selects Type-2, the D-Pad also selects Type-2, and the configuration of Script Keys remains default. Click Done.

Then move the generated icon to the corresponding place.

If you want to change the trigger key, you can right-click on the icon. For example, if I want to change the trigger key of Quick Release Mouse Cursor, right-click - edit key. Change it to Alt, remember to click the save button in the lower right corner. That changes.

Then, we can click on the screen one by one to configure the missing buttons.

Add a script key to exit the Gunshot mode while pickup items. Use the Tap Release mouse template
, Select G key, Then drag it to the appropriate position.

If you need to configure a key to quickly switch throwable item or medical item, you can add a script key. Use the Tap Release mouse template.
Select a keyboard key. Then drag it to the appropriate position. Right click the icon, add enter shooting] to the KeyUp Text Area. and click save.

Back to the game battle, press the Tilde key under ESC, you can use the mouse to control the player's vision. Left button to shoot, right button to aim at the enemy.


Finally, we do one more optimization. That is, when you close the backpack and map pages, it will automatically enter Gunshot mode.

We enter the key mapping configuration interface again, add a blank script key, and use ESC as the trigger key. Copy the following commands, click, delay, enter shooting. Modify the delay to 100ms. click Save. Then move to the upper right corner and save. Let's test it again. Perfect.
