Описание к видео EGU WEBINARS: How to write a research paper

You have worked hard to get your results, analyse the data, and draw conclusions from your research topic. Now it is time to write up! While scientific writing can seem daunting to early career scientists, publishing your results is a fundamental part of the research process and essential for communicating your findings to the scientific community.

In this webinar our guest speaker, Ken Carslaw, co-Chief Executive Editor of the EGU journal Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics, outlined the main elements of a research article and provided guidance on how to write clear, concise and logical articles. The webinar also included recommendations for well-structured titles, abstracts, introductions, results and conclusions. It also touched on the overall process of constructing an article from scratch.

The webinar lasted for one hour and conclude with an audience Q&A.

Speaker:

Ken Carslaw is co-Chief Executive Editor of the EGU journal Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics and teaches Masters students at the University of Leeds how to write research articles.
