Kishane Thompson wins Jamaica Olympic Trials in world leading time of 9.77 seconds. Kishane's time of 9.77 seconds was the same time Asafa Powell ran in 2005 to break the world record. Kishane's 9.77 seconds is the fastest time since 2022. Kishane Thompson is now the 9th fastest man in world joining Ferdinand Omanyala.

In this men's 100m, Oblique Seville was second in 9.82 seconds equaling his PB. Ackeem Blake was third in 9.92 seconds.

In his post-race interview, Kishane explains that he stopped running (shut it down) at about 60M. What are your views?
