What is TDP (Thermal Design Power) in Processor? Higher TDP value is better or lower | Intel core i9 vs AMD Ryzen 3900X Processor explained 2019.

TDP stands for Thermal Design Power or Thermal Design Point. It is a maximum amount of heat generated by a computer chip such as processors. TDP is measured in watt but it does not mean that it will consume the same power as TDP value. The processor power consuming value and TDP is completely different.
