メカドール1/72 三菱 キ83 試作長距離戦闘機1号機のガレージキットを作りました。
キットの良さを活かしてリベットや排気口などの簡易的なディテールアップをして仕上げました。

キ83は爆撃機の護衛のために開発がされた長距離戦闘機です。
しかし、戦局の悪化や機体の仕様が定まらず開発に遅れが生じました。
過給機エンジンや水平尾翼の振動問題などが有りますが、この時代の中で考案された日本試作機の中では実現性の高い試作ではないでしょうか。
大馬力エンジンにスマートな機体は、とても美しフォルムだと思います。
