Canvas: 16x20 stretched primed canvas
Brushes: 1/2 flat bristle (large), #8 round (medium), #1 round (small)
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, mars black, burnt umber (brown), deep yellow, burnt sienna (rust), green oxide, fire red
Other: #2 pencil, palette, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. #2 pencil - Draw outline for apples, table and bucket
2. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint the sky/background with white, yellow and green
3. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint 1st layer of table top and bucket with brown, rust and yellow
4. #8 round brush - Paint the 1st layer of apples with red
5. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint the out of focus foliage with black, brown and green
6. #8 round brush - Paint branch with black, brown and white
7. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Finish table top and bucket with yellow, rust, black, brown and white
8. #8 round brush - Paint shadows on apples with black and red
9. #8 round brush - Paint handle with brown, rust, yellow, black and white
10. #8 round brush - Paint 1st layer of birds with white
11. #8 round brush - Paint 1st layer of leaves with green and yellow
12. #8 round brush - Paint stem shadow areas with black and red
13. #8 round brush - Finish apples with white, yellow and red
14. #1 round brush - Finish leaves with brown, yellow and white
15. #1 round brush - Paint apple stems with black, brown and white
16. #1 round brush - Paint beaks with black and white
17. #1 round brush - Paint black head and neck feathers with black
18. #1 round brush - Paint tail feathers with black, brown and white
19. #1 round brush - Paint wings with black, brown and white
