This video is my last vlog in Shanghai, I spent my time packing behind the scenes and rushed out to meet my friends, checking some of my favorite places again. Thanks for watching~

I packed my life into two suitcases at 18 and flew across the world from New York City to Shanghai. I never thought I'd call this place home, but this city kick-started my growth in my early 20s. I always had questions about my identity; being Chinese American wasn't easy in the early 2000s. When I came to China, this place made me feel so foreign, mostly because I was treated as a foreigner. Apart from COVID-19 restrictions, I made many friends, and kind teachers and met some of the most important people in my life. A piece of my heart will always reside in Shanghai.

2019年从纽约飞到了上海。我18岁第一次来中国，我从未想过会称这里为家。华裔在美国并不容易，当我来到中国时，这个地方也让我感到如此陌生。随着时间，我慢慢融入了这里的生活与习俗。在这段经历中，我结交了许多朋友。我人生目前最重要的4年给了上海，我的心永远都会有一部分驻扎在这。谢谢观看哦～希望喜欢。
