The NgModule is the core concept in Angular – the NgModule API usage is required to create even the simplest “Hello World” application. Yet in 2022 we’ve embarked on the journey of making NgModules optional, fundamentally changing the role of Angular components and re-thinking overall application structure. Why changing something so fundamental, something that was part of Angular (almost) right from the start? Glad you’ve asked – this is exactly the question addressed during the talk!
