Shadow Indigenous Affairs Minister Jacinta Price has taken aim at Energy Minister Chris Bowen for giving an Acknowledgement of Country at the COP28 summit in Dubai.

Ms Price hit out at Mr Bowen’s overseas ceremonial address in a 2GB radio interview on Tuesday.

“I think he’s forgotten he wasn’t in Australia at that point,” Ms Price told 2GB.

“I mean it’s lost any meaning if that’s what you’re doing now.

“You’re going to other parts of the world and suddenly this pops up and you’re in your address.”
