In this video I am going to run the walabot diy plus x through its paces.

My old stud finder was not very accurate and I would have to scan the entire wall multiple times to try and get the studs located. On pass it would show a stud and the next pass over the stud would be gone. Some times it would repeat and convince me that it was on a stud, put the screw in and no stud. I got so aggravated last time I used it, In the trash it went.

I had seen some videos on the walabot stud finder and wanted to try it out. I ordered it and price wasn't bad at all, about 80 bucks on ebay. I was skeptical that it would be over hyped and under perform. So I wanted to put it to the test.

I scanned two studs a pipe and a wire. While scanning I maked there locations and pulled a tape measure to check and make sure the accuracy was there. Accurate it was, it found the center of the stud with ease. The pipe and the wire also measured out perfect to where the walabot showed them being.

I will say this is the first stud finder I have enjoyed using. Finds the stud the first time and identifies the center with ease. Check out the video I think you will be just as impressed as I was.
