1988 Eagle Premier Dealer Promo Comparison Commercial

A Dealer Comparison video aid for New Eagle Dealers. This car was the platform used by Chrysler to create the LH series of cars. Please note that the vehicles used in this product sport the Renault Diamond Emblem. Althought there is no Renault name plate on the car. Renault never sold this car. It was completely developed by AMC for the USA market. A Renault Premier is like a Unicorn, it doesn't exist. In March of 1987, 9 full months before the Eagle was launched in Jan. of 1988, Chrysler began to acquire AMC. This car were produced while Chrysler was acquiring AMC from Renault in the Summer/Fall of 1987. I personally recall seeing my first Premier at the Chrysler Zone Office in Natick Massachusetts in Nov of 1987. At that time, it did have a Renault Emblem. This car later was used at the Boston Auto Show and had had the the Diamond Emblem removed and the new Eagle Emblem in it's place. Some Stereo options did still have the Renault Emblem on the car thru the 1989 model year. Many of the parts too thru 1989 in the engine bay had the AMC Logo still affixed to them.
