This Atlantic Laser Scanning tutorial uses data collected with a FARO Focus 3D scanner, then imported into FARO SCENE Software. In the field checkerboard targets were set up to help register the scans together using SCENE Software. This workflow illustrates the method of registration utilizing the checkerboard targets from setting the target type, to auto target registration for accurate measuring.
