In this video , Simran is going to 3 temples included "Mamleshwer Mahadev Temple, Kamaksha Devi Temple and Mahunag Temple" (without Sakshi), near Karsog of Mandi District in Himachal Pradesh. We will take you to the very beautiful temples.

About the location 📍

1 - Mamleshwar Mahadev Temple -

Mamleshwar Mahadev temple is a Shiva temple located in Karsog town of the Mandi district of Himachal. The Mamleshwar Temple is situated in Karsog valley surrounded by high hills. It is about 100 km from Shimla and can be visited throughout the year.

Major attraction included -

Agni Kund -
It is believed that the 'Agni Kund' (sacred fire) was lit by the Pandavas.

Wheat Grain -
Five thousand years old wheat grain that weighs is 250 grams.

Bhima's Drum -
Locals say that a drum was built by Bhima himself which he used to play during his free time.

2 - Kamaksha Devi Temple -

The temple of Kamaksha Devi (Goddess) is situated in district Mandi near Karsog valley at village Kao. The temple of Kamaksha Devi is dedicated to Goddess Durga.
There are only three Kamaksha temples in India.
The first is kamakhya devi temple which is the famous mythological shaktipeeth of Assam. The second is Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. Last but not the least is Kamaksha temple in Himachal Pradesh. So, please read further about one and only Kamaksha devi temple in devbhoomi Himachal.

The distance of this village from main station karsog is about 7 km.

3 - Mahunag Temple -

The Temple of Dev Mahunag is situated at the valley of karsog which is in district Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The temple is about 25 km away from main Karsog market. The distance from Shimla is around 96 km via Tatapani Sunni.

Dev Mahunag temple is amediable styled pahari temple and it is devoted to Lord Karna, who played very special role in Mahabharata, locally known as Mahunag. It is said that, whenever the devotees are in trouble and they askLord Karna for help, he metamorphoses himself into "MAHU" (Bee) and hastens to their help. The records of Mandi speak about the temple, which was constructed in 1664 by Raja Shyam Sen ,who was a great devout of Lord Karna.
