Welcome back to [ Stitch & style by Savita ]! In today’s video, we’re creating an adorable and trendy baby outfit—a hollow-out top paired with matching pants. This set is perfect for any little fashionista, and I’m excited to guide you through the entire process from start to finish.

Materials Needed:

• Bright pink stretchable fabric for the top
• Printed fabric for the pants
• Scissors
• Measuring tape
• Elastic band (for pant waist)
• Sewing machine
• Pins
• Thread matching the fabric color

Step-by-Step Tutorial:

1. Fabric Preparation:
Start by selecting your fabric. For the top, I’ve chosen a bright pink stretchable fabric, and for the pants, a beautiful pink-and-white printed fabric. Make sure to prewash the fabric to avoid any shrinkage later.

2. Cutting the Top:

• Lay out the fabric for the top.
• Measure and mark the top pattern. For a baby, use standard measurements or adjust according to your baby’s size.
• Create the hollow-out detail by marking a horizontal slit across the chest area.
• Cut out the pattern, ensuring the hollow-out detail is neat.

3. Cutting the Pants:

• Fold the printed fabric in half.
• Use a basic pant pattern or trace around an existing pair of pants.
• Add seam allowances and cut out the pant legs.

4. Stitching the Top:

• Sew the shoulder seams first.
• Create the hollow-out design by folding the fabric at the slit and sewing a neat hem around it.
• Attach the sleeves by sewing them onto the armholes.
• Sew the side seams and hem the bottom of the top.

5. Stitching the Pants:

• Start by sewing the inner leg seams of both pant legs.
• Place one leg inside the other, right sides together, and sew the crotch seam.
• Fold the waistband over and insert the elastic band, then sew the waistband closed.
• Hem the bottom of the pant legs.

6. Final Touches:

• Press all seams to give the outfit a professional finish.
• Pair the top and pants together to see the complete look.
