But you know what I don't hate ? God-tier chiptune. Tower of Heaven is like THE reference for crazy vidya chiptune for me. Flashygoodness, the author, is absolutely a master in the field. I don't know if my bedroom-tier mix will do it justice, so please by any means, go listen to the original OST if you don't already know about it.

This was without a doubt the most difficult cover I've ever made. The fast arpeggiated sections were so difficult I had to subdivide them into many smaller chunks for me to film. There was no way in hell I was one-shotting that, didn't even try lol. Though I had a lot of fun playing some of these riffs and melodies. Indignant Divinity is definitely my fav.
Also had fun experimenting with a bunch of effects and sounds I don't usually play with too much : tremolo pedals, jazzy clean leads, bass fuzz, and lots of synth. I've learned the lesson from Odysseus : I'm shit at keyboard, so I'll shoot the easy stuff that I can actually play, and for the more shreddy parts I'll leave it to the computer. Finally, I got myself a nice little SM57 to record classical and acoustic guitar with. Its SO much better than the TT1, don't know why I didn't make the jump earlier.

This took an entire month of hard and regular work to pull off. I'm happy but exhausted so don't expect the next upload to be another massive +7min medley... seriously, how the fuck did familyjules pull it off weekly back in the day ? Was he on coke h24 ? Damn.
