Oud Instrument Making (02) - Neck and End Blocks for the Oud Soundbox

This is the process of making two, front (neck) and end block of the Oud bowl.
here I have used two piece of Spruce for this but Maple is also very fine to make Oud bowl blocks.
Sizes and shapes of these block are depends on the makers choice.

آماده کردن بلوک‌ها (لقمه‌ها)ی گلویی و ته کاسه عود رو مشاهده میفرمایید.
این لقمه‌ها (بلاک)ها رو معمولا از چوب اسپروس (کاج) میسازم. هم وزن سبکی دارند و هم اتصال مناسبی به کار میده. البته که افرا هم بسیار برای این کار مناسب هست.
اندازه و فرم این لقمه‌ها بسته به سلیقه سازگر میتونه متفاوت باشه.
