This is a place where 2 rivers meet from India and China and form a 3rd river which flows to Pakistan. Its a nice place to visit and you can also go till the base. This comes on the way to Kargill / Srinagar highway from Leh. The Sangam point is located on the National Highway 1 to Srinagar. Watching the confluence of the muddy Zanskar water with the bluish green Indus is so beautiful.
The confluence of the Zanskar River (from top) and the Indus (bottom flowing from left to right) is 3 km southeast of Nimmu village in Ladakh.
