My Artifact Episode 3511
A Day of Surprises, Struggles, and Questions About Money
Hello, hello! Welcome to My Artifact, episode number 3511.
Today’s date is 30th July 2025, and the time right now is around 3:03 PM in the afternoon.
Alright, let’s dive in. There’s a lot happening today.
The Problem I’m Facing
So here’s the deal: normally, I upload my content every single day without missing a beat. But tomorrow might be different. Why? Because something serious came up in my family.
My cousin sister is in a very critical health situation. Her liver is not functioning properly — doctors said there’s a tumor, and basically, without a liver transplant, she can’t live more than 6 months.
Now here’s where things moved fast: last night, at 2:00 AM, the hospital called us and said they found a donor! Since a liver can’t survive outside the body for more than 24 hours, the transplant had to happen immediately. No waiting, no delay.
This morning, me and my father rushed to Nagpur, where the surgery is taking place. The donor is also from here, and that’s why everything happened in such a rush.
So yeah — I didn’t get time to prepare tomorrow’s content. Up until today (30th July), I’ve kept up with uploads, but tomorrow may be tricky.
The Good News
Now, don’t worry too much! There’s also some good news. I’m staying at my Atya’s place (my aunt’s house in Nagpur). She has a laptop, which means I could still create and upload content.
The only challenge: I need to install Photoshop and Premiere Pro on it. That’s doable — torrents are available — so technically, I can still make videos. But honestly, with everything happening so suddenly, I’m not sure if I’ll manage tomorrow. We’ll see.
A Little Personal Note
Right now, I’m just walking around because my stomach feels super bloated, like it’s about to explode. Funny thing is, I didn’t even eat that much. So, a little walk should help.
But here’s another small hiccup: the laptop at my aunt’s place is locked. Only her son has the password, and he’ll be back in about an hour. So until then, I thought — why not record today’s Artifact and answer some questions?
Today’s Question: Is Making Money Always a Struggle?
The question on my mind today is this:
“You said no to the idea that making money has always been a struggle.”
Let’s break that down.
At first, I was confused. But the way I see it, this question is about self-analysis — about how we personally view money-making.
Here’s an example: you’re doing a job, earning some amount of money. Then someone comes to you and says, “If you do this, you can earn more.” Would you believe them? Would you try it? Or would you think it’s just another struggle?
My Opinion on Money and Ideas
Here’s how I see it:
Check the Source – If someone offers me a money-making idea, the first thing I need to know is whether that person is genuine. In India, scams are everywhere. In fact, I once lost ₹28,000 to a scam, and it was a horrible experience. So, I don’t trust random people when it comes to financial advice.
Check the Idea – Even if the person is genuine, the idea itself must be worth it. Is it practical? Is it legit? Or is it just a scam dressed up as a “get rich quick” plan?
Effort Matters – I don’t believe in money without effort. I’m not saying effort means back-breaking hard work, but you do have to put in consistent work. Anyone who promises big money with zero effort — yeah, that’s a red flag.
An Example: Chain Marketing
Let me share a story. Years ago, a guy approached me with a scheme. He said:
If I invest some money, I’ll earn a little profit.
But if I bring in 3 more people who also invest, I’ll earn even more.
That’s basically chain marketing — or as most people know it, MLM (multi-level marketing). In India, this is super common. People always try to convince you to “just join” and bring others in.
But my answer? A big NO. I don’t want to drag others into something that doesn’t feel right, especially when it comes to money.
Back to the Question
So, the question was: Is making money always a struggle?
My response: not always. It’s not about whether money itself is a struggle. It’s about whether the people and ideas around you are genuine. If the person is trustworthy and the idea is solid, I’ll give it a shot. If not, I won’t waste my time.
Money doesn’t just fall from the sky. You need effort, you need clarity, and you need to filter out the scams from the real opportunities.
Wrapping Up
Alright, I think I’ve said what I needed to say. Maybe I didn’t fully crack the meaning of that question, but I’ve shared my thoughts and experiences around money-making and trust.
That’s it for today’s episode. Thanks for listening, and I’ll catch you next time.
End of Artifact 3511.
