Wyeth Day—Betsy’s Gift: A Conversation with Jamie Wyeth

Описание к видео Wyeth Day—Betsy’s Gift: A Conversation with Jamie Wyeth

Upon Betsy Wyeth’s passing in 2020, the Farnsworth Art Museum received from her bequest twenty-seven works by three generations of Wyeth family artists: six by N.C., two by Andrew, and nineteen by Jamie. Together, they greatly enriched the museum’s already strong holdings of their works, and at the same time demonstrate Betsy Wyeth’s passion for collecting. In this conversation, Farnsworth Chief Curator Michael K. Komanecky talks with Jamie Wyeth about his mother’s collecting, and his impressions of the works she left to the Farnsworth.
