Follow these steps to install the Integration Services Projects extension in VS2019.

We assume that you already installed Visual Studio 2019 on your Windows computer. To install SSIS, follow these three steps:

1. Download the SSIS projects extension from the Visual Studio Manage extension menu.

2. Install the SSIS projects extension.
To avoid errors: all the Visual Studio 2019 windows needs to be closed. The other installation windows either. And last the Windows process called PerfWatson2. To close the PerfWatson2 process, open the task manager, go to the Details tab , right click and select End Task.

3. Create a new SSIS project to check if the installation is OK.
