In this lesson we start combining our legato skills with the modes of the major scale in order to create fast and cool lead lines and guitar solos. I still hesitate to call this shredding because there is a lack of picking, and that's why it's a great starting point into fast playing. It really only exercises your left hand and theory, making it easier to eventually add in right hand picking.
