My favorite hobby is reading about made up lands and magical creatures. It's a form of escapism that always comforts me and today I want to bring one of my favorite fantasy lands to life by painting it! I'm painting a vibrant, magical landscape of Terrasen from the Throne of Glass series. To do this painting justice I had to study the descriptions of the land in the book, compile the most important attributes and create a sketch of what I imagined in my head when reading. It was a fun challenge and one that I hope to do more of for other books I love.
