Judy and Gary MacDonald have been providing 5-star hospitality to guests of the Barachois Inn since 1984.
The authentic heritage home is beautifully appointed, rich with art, antiques and modern comforts.
With a life-long interest in Island culture, Judy and her family proudly offer “The Barachois Experience,” a signature concierge service.
The Inn consists of two houses; the Gallant House (c. 1880), and the MacDonald House, a newer facility designed with accessibility in mind
Barachois Inn is nestled in the heart of Rustico, a place rich with Acadian history.
Judy is passionate about preservation and recognition of the area, and loves to recount its past with guests; “This is an important little community; it is very significant”.
The historical Inn recently made upgrades to optimize energy efficiencies, including solar panels, EV chargers, and heat pumps.
