Karnataka Hijab Showdown; Congress Siddaramaiah Backs Students Stir Against Hijab Ban

Weighing in on the 'hijab' (headscarf) row in Karnataka, Congress leader Siddaramaiah threw his weight behind Muslim girls and hit out at the BJP government. While the state government asked educational institutions to follow existing uniform-related rules, until the High Court order next week.

Reportedly, Siddaramaiah took to his Twitter handle and attacked RSS stating 'They are trying to create communal disharmony throughout the state'.
