At the center of this romantic comedy is a woman whose life took an unexpected turn at nineteen when she was left at the altar. The disappointment was so profound that she vowed never to rely on men again. Years pass, and she builds an independent and stable life, but a decade later she realizes she wants to become a mother.

Determined to stay true to her independence, she approaches the situation practically, placing newspaper ads in search of a suitable candidate and considering both traditional dating and alternative options. The responses, however, are far from what she imagined. Meanwhile, two very different men begin competing for her attention — her attentive gynecologist and a cheerful professional clown. Caught between logic and emotion, practicality and sincerity, she must decide what truly matters when it comes to love and family.
