UGSS-O2 is used as Oxygen charger for charging the Oxygen bottles of the SU-30MKI aircraft. It consists of TWO MAJOR UNITS as follows:
Main Oxygen Charging Vehicle (Tata Truck with special Canopy housing the Oxygen Storage SKID, Oxygen Gas Boosters SKID with two Oxygen gas boosters & Oxygen Distribution
Engine Driven Towable Compressor Trolley to drive the Oxygen Boosters on the Main Oxygen Charging Vehicle.

Air Pressure Regulator: WP 8 Kg/cm2 ,Flow 270 SCFM, with Gauge Port 1/4"FBSPP,3/4"FBSPP inlet and Outlet Port
Air Line Pressure Switch: Working Pressure: 10 kgf/cm2,Range :0.6 to6kgf/cm2, set at 4 kgf/cm2, Media: Compressed Air
Ball Valve with Hand Lever: Design structure 2-way ball valve, Nominal pressure of process valve 30 bar Line installation Connection :1/2 BSP(F)
Oxygen Sensor: Online monitoring system PURITY O2 ANALYSER with Alarm Output, WITH PRESSURE REGULATOR 20.0 AND ROTAMETER
Oxygen Pressure Switch: Working Pressure: 250 kgf/cm2, Range:25to250kgf/cm2, set at 32 kgf/cm2, with certificate to use with Oxygen service.

Oxygen Purity Monitoring:
A built-in oxygen purity analyzer continuously monitors gas quality. If the oxygen purity drops below the pre-set threshold, the system automatically halts operations and triggers an alarm, ensuring only pure oxygen is used.
Safety Features:
A CO₂ Flooding System is integrated into the canopy to extinguish fires instantly in case of emergencies. Independent isolation valves and modular components enhance operational safety and flexibility during maintenance.
Portability and Storage:
Dedicated baskets and trays are provided for storing oxygen hoses, ensuring ease of handling and preventing contamination. A towable compressor trolley equipped with a compressed air hose ensures seamless connectivity with the main charging vehicle.

Technical Specifications:
Solenoid Valve: A 3/2 closed monostable air solenoid valve with a flow rate of 7500 l/min, operating at 24V DC.
Air Pressure Regulator: Supports a working pressure of 8 Kg/cm² with a flow rate of 270 SCFM and features inlet and outlet ports of 1/4"FBSPP and 3/4"FBSPP.
Oxygen Pressure Gauge: Measures pressure within the range of 0–16 Kg/cm² with high accuracy (1%), featuring a stainless steel case and calibration for Kg/cm² and PSI.
Air Line Pressure Switch: Operates within a working pressure of 10 Kg/cm² and is set to activate at 4 Kg/cm² for compressed air media.
Check Valve: Made from stainless steel (SS316), supports a maximum pressure of 6000 psi (414 bar), with a connection size of 1/4".
Oxygen Sensor: Includes an online monitoring system with an oxygen purity analyzer, alarm output, pressure regulator, and rotameter.
