But, when investing in a real estate fund, the opposite happens. Essentially, you’re writing a blank check to an operator who will pool your money (along with other investors) to buy a deal that fits their cash flow, appreciation, and rent growth criteria. But is this “going in blind” approach the best way to invest? And what should investors look out for when putting money into funds?
