Crime of the Week: Arson - Petitcodiac, N.B.

Crime Stoppers and the Southeast District RCMP, Riverview Detachment, are looking for the person or persons responsible for an incident of arson in Petitcodiac, New Brunswick.

On Sunday, October 13th, 2013, at approximately 7:30pm, the Petitcodiac Fire Department and Riverview RCMP were called to the scene of a structure fire, at the Spot Depot Food Bank, situated at 5 Mill road. The newly renovated food bank was completely destroyed by the flames. The loss is estimated at over $150,000. The investigation revealed that the fire was suspicious in nature and the police are asking the public for information that could help solve this case of arson.
