The verdict! Should you buy an F-150? (Ford F-150 2023 review)

Описание к видео The verdict! Should you buy an F-150? (Ford F-150 2023 review)

The Ford F-150 is finally on sale in Australia in the choice of two variants: XLT and Lariat with both available in either short or long-wheel-base form.

All grades have a braked towing capacity of 4500kg, with prices kicking off at $106,950 before on-road costs.

Like the Ram 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado which have both become a popular sight on Australian roads the F-150 is converted locally from left to right-hand-drive, with Ford stating an intention to make the right-hook version as good if not better than the US version on which it’s based.

Ford’s 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 ‘EcoBoost’ engine is currently the only engine on offer, with the petrol powerplant claiming a combined fuel consumption of 12.5L/100km drawn from a 136L fuel tank.

So is the F-150 worth the extra spend over a typical midsize ute like a Ford Ranger?
