This press can run up to 10,000 impressions per hour and can produce 20,000 letter size prints 2 up on a 13.3"x18" sheet with room for register & crop marks, bleed and color bars. We run high quality spot color and process color (CMYK) on this machine. This press is carefully calibrated for dot gain of each CMYK color using a Gretag D19C densitometer and the calibration is monitored continuously. This allows us to achieve perfect gray balance resulting in consistent press runs and repeat jobs that match in color to the previous runs. We plate this press with 8 mil polyester plates off a DPX 5080 CTP system that uses an internal drum to laser the image for perfect registration of both process and spot colors.
