Arbor Recordings proudly presents our first full compilation album, and we're delighted to welcome a plethora of talented artists to the label for this project.
This album will be the first of an on-going series and we wanted an appropriate album title that not only reflected the theme of the label, but also acted as a metaphorical reference to celebrate and appreciate all the contributing artists that are sharing their talent and their music within this series.

The Japanese word "Komorebi" seemed to perfectly encapsulate the essence of what we were looking for. Although there is no direct English translation of the word, it essentially means "the sunlight that streams through the trees" and is also deemed more of a feeling than just a word. So not only does it fit the tree-based theme of Arbor Recordings, but is also a homage to all the artists involved with the album, as their music is like the light shining through and illuminating the release.

"Dodecahedron" is the first of two tracks on the album from label boss Land Mammal UK and you can feel the energy rising with this one, as the chord progression gets you in the groove before it sucks you in further with its uplifting strings and arps. This is a track with a sound that could fill a big room and bring the crowd together in unison.
