Protecting your RV from the elements starts with proper installation of your RV cover. In this video, we walk you through each step of the process to help you get a secure, damage-free fit that keeps your RV protected when it’s not on the road.

Before getting started, make sure to prepare your RV by adding any necessary rain gutter covers or ladder covers to prevent tears in the fabric. Remove sharp-edged accessories like antennas or solar panels, and clear away any debris from the roof. These steps will help you avoid punctures or snags during installation.

Once your RV is prepped, unroll the cover next to your rig and unwind the straps and buckles. Place the cover inside out on the ground and roll it back up so the front tag is exposed. Then, position the cover behind the RV, climb up, and pull it carefully over the top toward the front. Adjust as you go to ensure even placement.

Secure the cover by connecting the front and rear buckles, tightening the tension panels, and using the weighted toss bag to pass the underbelly straps from one side to the other. Connect and adjust all straps until they’re snug — but not overtightened — to keep the cover in place and prevent damage.
