The Blood Transfusion Education and Discussion Group is a virtual group aimed at those working in Transfusion, brought to you by the Patient Blood Management Team at NHS Blood and Transplant.

We meet on the last Wednesday of every month and an expert speaker is invited to deliver a talk on a specific area of transfusion.

This session is delivered by Danny Gaskin and Ness Hayes, BSMS Lead Specialists at NHS Blood and Transplant. In this session, Danny and Ness talk about the Blood Stocks Management Scheme’s monthly component report. They cover all four components, explain the data, show how to make the most of your reports, and share resources to support your participation and interpretation.
