Sonic Heroes 9.28 Beta: E3 Grand Metropolis

Grand Metropolis is by far the most interesting stage in the new 9.28 beta build of Heroes. It's seemingly in some in-between state of being converted into the final from a later E3 version.

Sonic's layout fits the final level, but Dark, Rose, and Chaotix all start to not fit after a while. This made me think, were they based off the E3 version? It's very different from the final. After loading in Dark's 9.28 layout into a E3 Grand Metro port for the PC version, it fits, and so do Rose and Chaotix's layouts.

Strangely enough, a section was seemingly cut from the level between E3 and these layouts' creation, towards the end of the stage. That's why there's objects floating in space at the end. This implies there being some version of the stage between the two builds that has that section removed, but doesn't have the hallway sections yet. This is still a huge leap for this strange oddity, though.
