New Portals - Stay Here Tonight [OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO]

In 1982, New Portals were filmed before a live studio audience for the critically acclaimed but now decommissioned, NPTV. Due to recent media interest in the act, this archived footage was restored and digitised and offers viewers an insight into the band's early work.

NPTV was a branch of Geddis Films, and this episode is a clip taken from an episode directed and edited by Colin Geddis.

It stars Shane Todd & Colin Geddis and is hosted by the teenage Mike & Ruth Aicken.

According to notes found with the original film reel, chief camera operator on the TV show was Phil Bailie (now best known for his work with Skyline Aerial) & makeup was by Máirín McGrath.

The song itself was written by New Portals' Mike & Ruth Aicken, produced by Matt Weir & Pete McCauley, edited by Peter Wallace, mixed by Shane Wilson and mastered by Pete Maher.
