I've been needing to upgrade my pedalboard for some time, so here I am running through what I have considered and incorporated to the latest iteration of my board.... for now.

Having hit the stage over the past year with ‪@lockdownco.‬, my previous ‪@Pedaltrain‬ Metro 24 did the job, but considering the amount of pedals I now use, it became apparent that it just wasn't big enough. I was also never 100% confident on its reliability, due to having to retro fit some feet at the bottom to fit the power supply, and I was also daisy chaining power to pedals (the tap dancing was becoming seriously annoying too).

The new board is bigger, but importantly I have a power supply that gives all the juice I need in the form of the ‪@voodoolabofficial‬ Pedal Power 3 Plus, and have incorporated the ‪@BOSSinfoglobal‬ ES-8 pedal switcher for both ease of switching and better signal quality. This is all now neatly packed on a ‪@Pedaltrain‬ Novo 24.

So here's my take on what I have learned through going through this upgrade process, what I think is important to factor in, and what I consider to be the main benefits of a board built in this way.
