After regulation, Hand and Wilton were left at a 1-1 stalemate with Scott Testori and Nathan Bennett scoring respectively. It was an intense back and forth match as Wilton answered every question Hand posed. Hand took a 2-1 lead in overtime courtesy of Christopher Porte which was quickly cancelled out by Wilton's Jacob Lash. Testori netted again to put the Tigers up 3-2 before the second overtime period. Then Liam McLaughlin's freekick in the second overtime period was bundled home by Michael Zizzadoro. Finally centerback and captain Jack Green put Hand 4-3 in front after he slid home a low driven cross from Testori to seal the 4-peat for the Hand Tigers.
