This group is formed in 2022, while dance especially for Afghan girls and women is considered an unacceptable act and against Taliban government laws. Prior to the formation of this group, there were no dance performances in whole Calgary at any community event. These butterflies want to show that dancing is an art by which one can express her or his pure inner feelings for love, unity, brotherhood, sisterhood, peace, humanity and spirituality. This piece of dance is for peace and right of education for Afghan girls and women.
