In this video, I try out the Fisher Gold Bug 2 Metal Detector on a rock outcrop to see what it picks ups.

The rock is mainly made up of gneiss and mylonite with igneous intrusions. There are small and large veins of quartz and pegmatites that cut through the rock.

The rocks contain iron minerals like magnetite along with silicates and sulfide minerals.

The detector found many targets which is likely due to the high amounts of iron in some of the rocks.
