Editorial Webinar: Building tomorrow's networks: best practices for deploying hetnets

Описание к видео Editorial Webinar: Building tomorrow's networks: best practices for deploying hetnets

Small cell and DAS deployments require careful planning and coordination of a number of different processes. Zoning, permitting, lease agreements, backhaul, power, and "negative assets" all need to be evaluated when a site is chosen. A new site's planned performance needs to be projected in the context of the overall network. Equipment choices need to be made with interoperability and scalability in mind.

In addition, operators often need to choose form factors that allow for concealment, and software that enables remote provisioning and dynamic load balancing. Small cells that have been thoroughly tested in the lab can save operators time and money in the field. Field technicians can make or break a deployment, and operators are choosing infrastructure service providers who specialize in hetnet deployments.

What you will learn:
• How have the four major carriers differed in their approach to outdoor small cells?
• What are municipalities saying about outdoor small cell initiatives?
• Is RAN sharing inevitable?

Who should watch:
• Wireless carrier executives, managers and engineers involved in network planning and optimization
• City planners, municipal CTOs and CIOs
• Executives, managers and engineers at wireless infrastructure service provider firms
