नमस्कार मित्रांनो.. या वीडियो साठी आपण पोचलो आहोत मुंबईतील कोळीवाड्यामध्ये खास नारळी पुनवेचा सनाला. समुद्राकाठी रहाणार्‍या व प्रामुख्याने मासेमारी करणार्‍या कोळी लोकांचा नारळी पौर्णिमेचा हा महत्त्वाचा सण आहे. पावसाळ्यात समुद्र प्रचंड खवळलेला असतो. यावेळी बोटी, जहाजांची वर्दळ या काळात बंद असतात. समुद्राचा कोप होऊ नये, जहाजे, नौका सुरक्षित रहाव्यात, समुद्र शांत होण्यासाठी कोळी बांधव या दिवशी समुद्राची पूजा करतात. पूजेसाठी समुद्राला यथाशक्तीप्रमाणे सोन्याचा नारळ अथवा नारळ अर्पण करत असतात. म्हणून या सणाला नारळी पौर्णिमा असे म्हणतात. याद‍िवशी कोळी लोक आपल्या होड्या घेऊन मासेमारी करण्यासाठी समुद्रात जातात. नारळी पौर्णिमेचा सण कोळी बांधव अत्यंत पारंपारीक पध्दतीने साजरा करतात. कोळी बांधव आपला पारंपारीक वेश परिधान करतात. कमरेला रूमाल अंगात टिशर्ट आणि डोक्याला टोपी आणि स्त्रिया भरजरी लुगडे परिधान करून अक्षरशः सोन्याने मढतात. आपापल्या बोटी रंगरंगोटी करून सजवितात. बोटींना पताका लावुन सुशोभित केल्या जाते. तर वीडियो संपूर्ण पहा आवडला तर लाइक करून शेयर करायला विसरू नका.. धन्यवाद

Hello Everyone.. In this video, we have visited to Worli koliwada for celebration of Narli Pournima festival. Narli pournima, the festival is celebrated to mark the end of the monsoon season, as the fishermen now can begin fishing safely and start-off with their trade. Apart from offering coconut to Varuna, the sea-God, people also worship the sea and offers prayers so that the God keeps them safe while they are out in the sea, fishing. Narali Poornima is a ceremonial day observed by Hindu fishing communities in Maharashtra, India particularly around Mumbai and the Konkan coast. It is held on the full-moon day of the Hindu month of Shravan which falls around July or August. People also prepare their traditional food which includes coconut-like Narali Bhaat or coconut rice.
Activities
1. Worshipped to Sea God Varuna.
2. Make Swwet Coconut Rice specially on these occasion
3. Offered and Drop Coconut into Sea to worshiped.
4. Peoples sing a songs and dance together.
