Three Massachusetts residents — Naushka A. Machuca, Tashawana Tuckta-Warner, and Dominyck S. Sims — have been arrested after a man was allegedly robbed inside a hotel room at Bally’s Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island. Police say Machuca, 19, of Marlborough, and Tuckta-Warner, 19, of Boston, lured the victim from the casino floor to a private hotel room. Once inside, 28-year-old Sims of Worcester allegedly confronted the man with a knife and stole more than $1,500 in cash. The victim was reportedly allowed to leave and told not to contact authorities. Following an investigation, Lincoln police identified and arrested all three suspects. Each has been charged with first-degree robbery and conspiracy, with additional disorderly conduct and weapons charges for some of the defendants. The case remains under investigation as the suspects await court proceedings.
