Take a tour of the 45th Infantry Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma which is the largest state operated Military History Museum in the United States. What took us by surprise was their “historic firearm collection which is the 3rd largest in the country” and “world’s largest collection of items once owned by Adolf Hitler” on public display. The volunteers and the curator were incredible and gracious hosts and the museum was very informational to walk through.

As part of our 50 states by 2025, our goal is to visit one cultural, educational, or historical institution in every state we visit!
