XPower X-34AR Axial Air Mover | Initial Checkout

The initial checkout of an XPower Axial Air Mover fan model X-34AR. The unit claims to move 1,720 CFM and to be able to push air 160 feet away from the fan. The CFM rating seems believable, but the 160' claim is quite far fetched. I could feel it 25' across my garage, but once any resistance was met (blowing through the door's opening) the air diminished almost completely.

At the time of this filming, the retail price is $214.99. That seems rather overpriced to me, when there are comparable fans, from the iLiving brand for example, that move twice as much air for just a slightly higher cost.

Overall it seems like a decent fan for a job site use case. The cord is very long, the outlets on the fan are handy, and it does have a strong breeze. The control has a wide range of speed and can be toned down significantly to match a variety of use cases. However, it's very loud for the air moved, and it doesn't seem like it's all that much stronger than other options at a fraction of the price.
