2024 Brooms to Bowlo - Cystic Fibrosis

Annual Yamba charity walk raised over $20,000 for Cystic Fibrosis research

Organised by Raine & Horne Maclean, Yamba, Iluka, the event on 4 August 2024 attracted 280 participants.

The annual 23-kilometre charity walk from Brooms Head to Bowlo Sports & Leisure Yamba and raised $20,180 for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) research and support. The year's event saw over 280 walkers, participants, and volunteers and since 2008 has raised over $110,000.

Participants could choose between walking the 23 km route through the stunning world class Yuraygir National Park or enjoying activities at Yamba Bowling Club, including bowls, croquet, live music, raffles and complimentary lunch and drinks, all supporting CF.
